For many years, larger bore aerification tines were standard. However, within the last 18 months, the science has shown that a smaller bore tine is a better solution:
- Smaller bore is less intrusive
- Doesn't require closing the golf course during aerification
- Reduces thatch build up and creates nutrient channels
- Grass greens up quicker after aerification
- Cores can quickly be blown off the course due to smaller size
